Granola

Puffed stuff – 3 cups

  • buckwheat
  • brown rice
  • quinoa
  • millet

Nuts (roughly chopped) – 1 cup

  • almonds
  • pistachios
  • anything

Seeds – 1 cup

  • pepitas
  • sunflower seeds
  • sesame
  • linseeds (not too much)

Other – up to 1 cup

  • coconut (desiccated or flaked)
  • anything?!?

Spices / flavourings (any combo)

  • orange zest 2-3 tsp
  • cinnamon 1 tsp
  • cardamon 1/4 tsp
  • ground cloves up to 1/4 tsp
  • pinch salt

Wet stuff – 1/2 cup

  • coconut oil (melted) 1/4 cup
  • honey, maple syrup or rice syrup 1/4 cup

 

METHOD: 

Preheat oven to 175C

Mix all dry stuff

Mix wet stuff together

Mix wet into dry

Spread into a large baking tray

Bake approx 15 min, stirring occassionally and keeping an eye on it, until it’s done to your liking.
